Nodfolk

Terms of service

Last updated October 19, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Nodfolk member app, the Nodfolk website and the Nodfolk software gyms use (together, "Nodfolk"). By creating an account or using Nodfolk, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Nodfolk. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

What Nodfolk is

Nodfolk is software. It lets gyms offer memberships, check members in and schedule classes, and lets members join, switch, freeze or cancel a plan from their phone. Nodfolk does not run any gym. Your gym provides its facilities, classes, trainers and services.

Your membership is with your gym

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and go to your gym. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms. Recurring plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you authorize the charges shown when you join. Refunds are up to your gym and the law where you live. Nodfolk never stores your full card number.

Your account

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Nodfolk. That includes trying to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with the service, copying or reverse engineering it, or using it for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Ownership

Nodfolk and its software, design and content belong to Nodfolk. Gyms own their own names, logos and content. You may use the app for your own personal use while these terms apply.

Changes and availability

We work to keep Nodfolk available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or problems outside our control. We may change or improve features. If we make important changes to these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app or by email first.

Disclaimers

Nodfolk is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nodfolk is not responsible for a gym's facilities, classes, staff, health advice or the outcome of any exercise. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Nodfolk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim about Nodfolk is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid Nodfolk itself in the 12 months before the claim. Payments you make to your gym are not fees paid to Nodfolk. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it. Any claim will be brought in the state or federal courts in Tarrant County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Apple and Google app stores

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and Nodfolk, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support or any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the app store's own terms.
